Welcome to the Sheikah Clan! This is a club for fans of the most kickass race in the Zelda series: The Sheikah.

Like every good club, we've got rules to follow. Do so, and we'll all have a great time:

Joining
To join, you must of course, be a fan of The Legend of Zelda and the Sheikah.
It wouldn't do to join a club about things you don't know or like. You don't need to have Sheikah-related fanart or anything, just a love for them will be enough.
To join, send a note to the club requesting membership, and stick our icon in your sig or journal. If you don't know how to do that you just type : iconthesheikahclan : without the spaces, and you get Be sure to watch the club so you can see updates and important changes.

All dA rules apply: Art wise and Behavior!
That means no flaming, trolling, etc. We're all here to have a good time. Don't diss people's art or characters. This is a community devoted to sharing. Constructive criticism is good and will help people grow, but play nice.

Rules for Members - Please read the following!:
All Mature works will be marked as such. All unfinished drawings, sketches and scraps, will go into our Scraps! (Meaning, un-worked, un-inked pencil lines, doodles, etc.)

While were talking about Art: Let's mention OC's
We encourage fan characters, but please be creative!
We all know as Sheikah Fans what Sheik looks like, so please, thick outside the Spandex!
We've all seen far too many Sheik clones around both dA and the internet.
If you want to submit a fan character for us to post, that's great, but please no Sheik clones. I won't post them because they're technically not original.

On that Note
I thought we made it a rule somewhere that all OC's must have a sort of Bio.. Anyway, it doesn't have to be long, but we would appreciate some sort of Hint about your character!
Really, it takes 2 seconds to think of a back story, a name, and some attributes! (Unless you're like Requiem and end up writing a novella) The point is, it makes you look better, it makes your character look more developed and thought out, and honestly, you don't look lazy.

Contests/News/Chats
If we have any contests etc. there will be special journals and rules for them, so be sure to read them thoroughly!

We'll probably have a contest soon to celebrate the approach of our 1 Yr. Anniversary


Rules for Submission
We encourage you to submit your work to the club! We would like to make a collection of awesome Sheikah art, so if you want to submit your work, please keep a few things in mind: This is a Sheikah club, so if you want to submit art, it should have a Sheikah in it. This isn't your generic Zelda club. We encourage fan characters, as stated above, and as stated above, be original and creative with them. I won't post Sheik clones. There are some awesome Sheikah fan characters out there, so if you want to make one, but don't know how a Sheikah should look, look to some of the other fan characters.

To submit your fanart, note the club with a link to your artwork. We'll post your work as soon as we can, so please don't pester us if we don't post it right away, or if it doesn't show up in the next update. We will get it up! (We're pretty good on this actually )

As the club grows and gets more popular, we will have one to two set days a week for updating at least Typically, this would be Thursday, or Friday.
Also, we'll hold a Chat occasionally on One or Both of those days We'll supply a note announcing that time in advance. But, feel free to use the chat whenever

Right now, sending us all your submissions is fine, but once we get settled, try not to flood us with a lot of submissions at once. Try to keep it to maybe a max of four per update.

Please comment and fave the on the artist's page. This isn't our work and we don't deserve the comments and faves for them. Comments will be disabled to encourage comments on the artist's page.
If we find we need to warn the same person more then three times for this offense, we will block and remove that person from the club =o

Rules for Art
Just follow the dA rules as far as art goes, but please don't submit anything overly graphic. Some nudity is okay, some blood, but not too much violence and yeah...just follow the dA rules and you'll be alright. This applies to artwork and literature; and it will be marked as Mature
Also, any pictures in scraps from your page that you want us to submit, will also be put into scraps on our page.
This also goes for any unfinished work, sketch, doodle, etc!

One last thing:
DO NOT GANK THE CLUBS ICON!
Sheikah-Sai made the icon for the club; if you want to use it, PLEASE ASK!

This has happened twice, so we had to make it rule.
